Vintage Dining Table and Chairs

A very pretty and versatile dining table with original winding mechanism and two extra leaves.

This lovely table has loads of character. Georgian style round table with straight tapering legs and ball feet suspended over brass and ceramic castors. Complete with winding handle to extend the table when required. Painted in Country Grey with detailing in Chateau Grey and French Linen. The table top has had two coats of lacquer for extra durability, the rest of the table and chairs have been finishes with a coat of clear wax. This table has been well used in the past and as such is not in perfect condition - there are a few nicks and minor cracks to the feet and the edges of the leaves are a little worn so they don't meet perfectly when wound in. Minor damage to the beading at the top of the legs is also evident. This is still a lovely old table and still perfectly useable albeit a little imperfect.

There are four fiddle back dining chairs and two carver type armchairs to match. All have Queen Anne legs and very pretty design to the backs. The inner detailing to the backs has been painted in Chateau Grey. The seats have been recovered in Rambling Rose fabric which is predominantly shades of green and gold. The chairs are all sturdy and sound although some have nicks and dents from their former life.

The table seats four intimately when fully wound in and six to eight when the extra leaves are added. The original winding mechanism is still in good working order though a little muscle is required! Winding handle included.
