Bureau

A pretty mid 20th century fall front bureau which has been handpainted in Paris Grey and then lightly distressed and waxed. The piece has three drawers which have been painted on the inside with Coco to contrast. Comes complete with the original keys: one for the drawers and one for the writing desk. Very pretty French style cabriole legs and shaped shelves inside make this a very desirable piece. The leather pad has been painted with a dry brush effect to highlight the grain of the leather. To the front the handles are quite ornate and delicate with hanging drop pieces and ornate scroll work to the mounts. The drawers have the usual dovetail joints which are to be expected with a quality piece of furniture.

Would make a lovely addition to any home and could be used with a modern laptop for home working or would look stunning in a girls bedroom.
