A pretty fall front bureau with cabriole legs which has been hand painted in Paris Grey and French Linen and lightly distressed. The inside is fitted with the usual pigeonholes to house important papers etc. There are two secrecy drawers to the top and the central pigeonholes have been painted in Duck Egg Blue to lift the effect. The drawer has the usual dovetail joints which are to be expected with a quality piece of furniture and the interior has been painted in French Linen. The leather writing pad has been finished in French Linen and waxed. Originally made in London, the makers stamp is visible on the bottom of the drawer. Comes with the original key so you can keep all those secrets safe! Would make a lovely addition to any home and could be used with a modern laptop for home working or would look stunning in a girls bedroom.
